Some Very Good Snacks at Amazing Grace Snack Shop |
Food. That's what I wanted; I was hungry — began the day without breakfast. So I headed into central Kailua from Keolu Hills to pick-up my mail; meanwhile, thinking about food. Food. Finally determined that I'd get a deli sandwich from Gee a Deli ...it just sounded right.
I tried to find street parking nearby without success, so I finally nosed into a space in the covered public parking structure just off Aulike Street. On the way to my selected destination I came across a series of classic cars on display by Westside Cruisers. Well, my passion for classic cars won out over my hunger, and I returned to the truck for my camera. It seems the 'Cruisers' were welcoming a new business into the community — Amazing Grace Snack Shop! After I was through taking some photos one of the members recommended the snack shop. I'll try that. I ordered an enchillda plate lunch; two chicken enchiladas, Spanish rice and macroni salad. Very good! No deli sandwich today.
Westside Cruisers - Car Club Hawaii
They've been doin' cars and car club things since 2000. I joined Westside Cruisers because I plan to bring my 1941 Chevy 5-Passenger Coupe to Kailua after one of my trips back to Northern Nevada to see world famous Hot August Nights.
