H O M E Marlene is inspired by the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands, and loves to paint flora, fauna, people and old lovely buildings. As she says: "Wherever I look I see something I want to paint, so I do not limit myself to one subject matter."       A budding artist since her early teens, Marlene excelled at making jewelry in high school. After high school she spent two years at The Center for Creative Studies, a private art school within the college. She went on to attend the Gemological Institute of America and received her diploma as a GIA Graduate Gemologist.       Marlene has made Hawaii her home for 21-years; fifteen of which have been dedicated to painting, painting, painting.
